How to pause and reinstate a mandate

How to pause a Mandate

  1. To pause a mandate, log into your Mono dashboard, then navigate to Mandates on your sidebar

  2. Click on the mandate for which you would like to pause.

  3. Toggle off the green button as shown on your dashboard.

  4. Then, your mandate will be paused. This means you won’t be able to debit the customer's account until the mandate is reinstated.

    The status on that mandate account will then be changed to 'Suspended'.

  5. The customer will receive an email informing them their mandate is paused.

How to reinstate a Mandate

  1. To reinstate a Mandate, log into your Mono dashboard, then navigate to Mandates on your sidebar.

  2. Click on the mandate you would like to reinstate.

  3. Toggle on the button beside "Activate" at the top right corner of your dashboard.

  4. Your mandate will be activated. This means you will be able to resume debiting the customer's account, as the mandate status is now active.

  5. Then, the customer will receive an email informing them their Mandate is now active.
