As a customer authorizing a Sweep mandate for a business to attempt to debit all bank accounts linked to your BVN in case of failed debits in the primary account, here are the steps to take to complete authorisation:

1. After a mandate has been created, a notification will be sent either via email or the business will share the mandate link to authorize the mandate. Once you click on the link, you'll be redirected to the Mono Direct Debit widget.

After you have confirmed the Mandate amount, click on the "Continue" button to start the authorization process.

2. Next, you'll be redirected to the consent page, which displays the details of the information that will be shared and the permissions you are granting. Please review the details carefully, and click "Continue" to proceed.

3. Next, select your preferred bank account from the list of financial institutions.

4. Choose the account type, i.e. Personal, Business or Joint.

5. Enter your account number and click 'Continue'.

6. Enter your BVN to continue; This will be used to verify your identity.

7. Select your preferred method of receiving OTP, whether via email or phone number.

8. Enter the OTP sent to the preferred destination.

9. Enter your date of birth to continue; This will also be used to verify your identity.

10. The mandate setup screen will be shown with the payment details. Review the details and click 'Agree and Authorise' to proceed.

11. Complete the authorization process by making a transfer of N50 from the mandate account to the destination account displayed on the widget.

After you've made the transfer, click on the "I've sent the money" button.

PS: the account details expire after 30 minutes.

14. You're done! Your Sweep mandate has been set up successfully on your account.
