Powered by Mono's direct bank transfer product, the Pay with Bank checkout option on Flutterwave lets you make instant and secure payments to Flutterwave merchants in Nigeria.

With this payment method, you can pay Flutterwave merchants by securely entering your login details to connect your bank accounts, verify your account ownership and identity, and then authorize the payment.

Here's how it works

  1. After clicking the payment prompt on the merchant's website or the provided payment link, you will be required to fill in your details to start the payment process. Enter the necessary details and then click on the "Pay" button.

  2. You will be redirected to the Flutterwave payment modal, where you will see a list of payment options offered. Click on the "Pay with Bank" option to continue.

  3. After you have clicked on the Pay with Bank option, a new page will appear, click on "Procced' and you will be redirected to the Mono DirectPay Modal.

  4. The next page will show a list of banks that Mono covers for DirectPay, select the financial institution which you would like to use to make your payment.

  5. After you have selected your bank, enter your banking login details; this is the User ID/Phone number and Password you use for Mobile or Internet Banking. After you've entered your banking credentials, click the "Continue" button.

  6. After selecting the Pay with Kuda PayID here, you have to input your phone number credentials. Then Click on "Continue".

  7. A pop-up will appear showing you a summary of the amount, what you're paying for, the description, and payment details. Once you've confirmed all details are correct, you can click on "Continue"

  8. You may be required to enter the One-time password (OTP) shared with you via text, email, or phone call. Some banks require the use of your internet banking token or PayId to authorize a transaction (kindly enter your PayId if that is required) and click "Authorize".

  9. Next, you will get a confirmation page on your screen showing you that the payment has been successful.
