The widget customization feature enables you to tailor the Mono widget to match your brand style and colour, and switch up Call to Action (CTA) buttons and success messages to connect better with your users.

NB: This feature only supports the version 2 of the Mono widget. You can learn how to switch to the widget 2.0 here.

How does this feature work?

First, you will need to activate the widget customization feature on the Mono dashboard. Once you have, you can follow these steps below to customize the widget for your business:

  1. Log in to your Mono dashboard and click the "More" tab on the sidebar menu.

2. The tab would be expanded to show more options, click on "Settings" to continue.

3. Navigate to the widget theme option under the product settings section.

4. Click on the "Create a new theme" button to set up a new theme and customize the widget.

5. Enter the preferred theme name, select the preferred app from the list of apps previously created and click "Continue" to create your theme.

6. Next, you can make the required changes for your widget builder, like:
- Edit the Consent page

- Institution Search

- Login page

- Success page

7. For the consent page, you can make edits to the following:
(a) The introduction message
(b) Widget icon

(c) The CTA button
(d) Choose the background color and then click "Save changes".

8. For institution search, you can make edits to the following:
(a) The search message

(b) Choose the background color.

(c) Choose the CTA text and

(d) Change the CTA link

9. For the Login page, you can edit the CTA button

10. For the Success page, you can make edits to the following:
(a) The success message

(b) The redirect link

(c) Choose to enable/disable the "redirect link".

11. Once you have made the required changes, click "Publish theme" at the bottom of the page.

12. Voila! Your theme has been successfully published and the Mono widget is now customized to suit your brand preferences.
You can also make changes to your widget theme as you like.
