To get started with Disburse, you must first create a Disburse App on the Mono Partners Dashboard. You can follow the steps here to create an app.
Once you have created an app, set your app to Live, and retrieve the Secret Key from the dashboard.
3. To Create the Source Account
Send a POST request to the API endpoint:
https://api.withmono.com/v3/payments/disburse/source-accounts
In your request, you should include the secret key, the body parameters, and headers for authorization.

4. Once you have generated the widget link, using the APIs, click on it to begin.
This will redirect you to the Mono widget to set up the source account. Click on the "Continue" button to start the authorization process.
5. After this, select your preferred bank and click Continue.
6. To verify your identity, enter your BVN details and date of birth. Click the 'Next' button after each step.
7. Once your identity has been verified, you'll be redirected to the transfer screen. Your Disburse account and the account you will be transferring the authorization fee to will be displayed on the widget. Send the exact amount stated (N50) from the linked account to the account displayed on the widget.
After you've made the transfer, click on the "I've sent the money" button.
NB: Please ensure it's the same account linked that you send this 50ngn from. This account details expire after 30 minutes. Please note that some banks require up to N100 to authorize the mandate. Here is a list of those banks.
7. You're done! Your Disburse mandate has been set up successfully on your account.
8. Once this is concluded, you can reconfirm the disburse setup using the api below:
