Apps on Mono provide scope to your project and enable you to give role-based access to your projects such as accessing webhooks. You have to create apps on the Mono dashboard to retrieve your public and secret keys, which you'd use to integrate Mono APIs into your products.

How to create an app on the Mono dashboard

To get started, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to the Mono dashboard and navigate to the Apps tab on the sidebar.

  2. On the Apps page, click the 'create an app' button to create your app.

  3. Next, add an image (optional) and enter the App name and the display name (optional) for your App. You can also set your App name as the display name by clicking the radio button. Then select which Mono product you'd like to use with the App, i.e. Lookup.

If you'd like to edit the details for your app, you can check out this guide.
