How to upgrade from a Developer Account to a Business Account on Mono

A simple guide on upgrading your account on the Mono Dashboard

Developer accounts on Mono have the option to upgrade to a Business account after they have connected 100 unique financial accounts. This upgrade gives you access to more dashboard features and unlimited connections on Mono.

Here's how to upgrade your developer account to a business account on the Mono Dashboard.

  1. Login to the Mono dashboard and click on the "More" tab in the sidebar.

  2. The menu will be expanded to show some options, click on Settings to continue, navigate to the Business column and then click on "Business Profile".

  3. On the Business Information page, navigate to the top right corner and then click the "Upgrade to business account" button.

  4. This will redirect you to the compliance page where you will fill in your business information, then click "Next: Add Contact", and fill in the required contact details.



  5. Next, you will be required to upload the Certificate of business name and the Return of allotment document.

  6. You can add the shareholders' details or request their information directly.

  7. If you prefer to fill in the information, click "Add details now" and fill in the shareholder's personal, contact, and identification details. Ensure to attach acceptable proof of address.

  8. Alternatively, if you would like to request the details from your shareholders, simply fill in their full name and email address and click "Add owner'. They will receive an email that will require them to upload their details.


  9. Once all the details have been submitted, tick the consent box and click the "Confirm & submit" button to submit the form.

  10. Finally, you will be redirected to the page below that shows that your account activation or upgrade request is being reviewed. We will go over your request and send you an update within 24 - 48 hours of submission.

If your account activation request is successful, your account will be automatically upgraded to a business account on the dashboard. However, if your request is rejected, you can check here for the next steps.
